Position Title: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Employment Type: 13 week contract with potential for extensions

Shift: Days / Nights - 3x12s

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join our team. The PCU RN will provide specialized care for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and interventions between the general medical-surgical unit and the intensive care unit. This position is ideal for a nurse with strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state]. Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification is a plus.
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of [1-2] years of nursing experience in a telemetry, step-down, or critical care environment preferred.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in telemetry equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Pay: $58.00 - $59.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
